As long as I can remember, I’ve always had dried lips and struggled to find the right lip balm, chapstick, lipstick, (you name it) that provides enough moisture and color for my lips. It wasn’t until I started to research and pay attention to clean beauty products that I was introduced to French Girl Rose Lip Polish and Kari Gran Lip Whip. I first saw the duo at Follain in Beacon Hill and then later decided to do more research when I got home.
I want to mention, I’m no beauty guru or even that knowledgeable with clean beauty for that matter, but found shops like Follain in Boston (also in NYC and Nantucket) or websites like The Good Trade, have been extremely helpful in digesting all of the clean beauty information.
Using the Lip Polish pretty much every day in the morning was the best thing for my lips to get them prepped and ready. Not only does French Girl Organics have super cute packaging and effective products- but all formulas are clean, vegan and organic with infused mood-boosting botanicals. The Rose Lip itself contains Shea Butter which helps fight inflammation and Castor Oil which deeply moisturizes the skin.
The Lip Polish definitely helped in hydration and bringing back natural color to my lips, but adding the Lip Whip totally helped keep the moisture last all day. Kari Gran Skin Care is a Seattle based organic skin care line with products made from the finest natural ingredients- not to mention their chic look. Their Lip Whip comes in a variety of colors that adds a natural boost of brightness to your face. And of course, it provides health benefits such as Sunflower Seed Oil that is high in Omega-6 fatty acids and Vitamin E. I recently bought another color and am loving it for the summertime.
